AdAware and Spybot
are good programs, spybot has free active scanning
whereas AdAware does not, other than that, they do the job quite nicely. You must run these programs at
least twice a week if your on a high-speed constant
connection. Make sure you download Service Pack 2 if running XP.
MSCONFIG
can be used to deselect all third party processes to speed up your computer.
