The Matrix

BASIC PLOT: The Matrix is a computer designed world that is controlled by machines to prevent us from knowing the truth. The real world was taken over by machines of artificial intelligence that were beleived to be solar powered so the humans scorched the sun but the machines found a new source of energy. Humans. So in the real worled humans are no longer born. They're grown.------------- THE REBELS: They try to stop the machines from hiding the truth. In the Matrix they can do anything because it is only their minds that are in the Matrix not their bodies. Whatever they think they can do without fear doubt or disbeleif, they can do. There is one who has no limits to his beleifs and he can do anything.---------------------------- THE MACHINES: In the Matrix the machines come into human forms known as "Agents". No human has ever killed an agent. They can punch through walls, men can empty entire clips of bullets at them and hit nothing but air. But their is one, Neo, who can beleive more, therefore can beat agents.

Main Actors

• Keanu Reeves plays the main character Neo who is the one and can stand against agents.
• Carrie-Anne Moss plays Trinity, a rebel who is in love with Neo.
• Laurence Fishburne plays Morpheus the rebel who Thomas Anderson (Neo before he freed his mind) searches for, and is the leader of the ship/hovercraft The Nebachenezer
• Joe Pantilino plays a rebel named Cypher, who betrays the others and tries to kill them.
• Hugo Weaving plays Agent Smith, an agent who never stops and learns to multiply in the second movie. (See pictures).
• Gloria Foster plays the oracle, the future seeker who tells of what will happen in the future.
