D51 Standard (Japan)
From 1936 to 1944, the manufacturing industries, Kisha-Seizo, Kawasaki, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Nippon-Sharyo, and JNR works, had produced 1,115 cars of this class. The steam locomotives of the same class were used at Taiwan as DT650 class. D51 class had been used until 1975. And now JR East Railway keeps one working order car of this class, and the remaining 181 cars are preserved everwhere in the country.
