Face Of A Child

Face of a child sweet and mild.
The joy of a great big smile.
The faith we see in their eyes.
Tears we dry when they cry.


The love we see when 
we hug them tight.
The determenation we see as 
that first step they take.


The joy in there heart 
when they learn something new.
Proud of every thing they do.
They learn love from me and you.


Teaching them the 
love of Jesus.
Watching them grow 
their faith is in us.


Watching them reach 
their goals in life.
Helping them through 
life's toil and strife.


Seeing the love they've 
learned to give.
Being so proud of 
the life they live.


Jesus loaned them 
to us for awhile.
And we gave them back 
to Him our dear child.


Face of a child 
sweet and mild.
God has taught us many things 
through the face of a child.
