BE A VOLUNTEER!!! Getting involved during your child's high school years can be extremely rewarding to you as their parent...One definition of a volunteer is.... "growing from a seed that has fallen naturally to the ground, not planted by a person" or "to freely make a decision to offer or give without being asked". Volunteerism is the theory or practice of being a volunteer or of using volunteers, as, without compensation (pay), in social agencies, and/or charitable organizations. The rewards are intangible, therefore they are so much more fulfilling than any dollar could ever be!!! GIVE IT A TRY!!

MISSION STATEMENT

img

The Booster Club’s mission is to 1) offset student costs associated with student activities, 2) increase school spirit and 3) provide school improvement programs. We are federally recognized as a 501c non-profit charitable organization and are run solely by parent volunteers. We are registered as a non-profit organization with the State of California. We believe that your membership will enable us to help your child’s organization(s) by providing a pool of volunteer resources. Working together, collectively, we can achieve our goals and objectives and establish the foundation for successful LCHS school programs.

Meetings are currently scheduled for the second Monday of each month, in the LCHS Career Counseling Center from 7-8pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

The Booster Club is currently seeking back-up officers for the current Board Members. These back-up officers will assume Executive Board positions for next year. We are also looking for volunteers to chair events and committee members. If you or anyone you know is interested, please let us know.

We support several events throughout the year; a) LCHS Swap Meet, in May, b) the Annual Crab Feed, in January c) Senior Sober Grad Night (on graduation night) and d) the Fireworks Program. In order for these events to be successful we need your help. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the LCHS Booster Club.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS:

IN ORDER TO COLLECT YOUR MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS, YOU MUST ATTEND A GENERAL MEETING! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE! 2004-05 By-Laws
