Always ask God things, “big things” and “little things”. Nothing is too small or too big to ask your Father in Heaven. He cares about you and wants to give you good things. Do not be afraid to ask anything of your Heavenly Father. He is just waiting for you to ask Him, so that He can answer you and give you the help you need for whatever the situation that you are facing. If you don’t ask Him anything, you may not receive what He wants to do for you. He’s just waiting for you to call on Him and to ask Him whatever you want so He can answer you. When you experience answers to your prayers, you come to know that He indeed is your Father Who hears and answers you. This is how a love relationship develops and grows between your Father and you. Try it and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
BASING YOUR PRAYERS ON THE WORD OF GOD ASSURES YOU THAT YOUR PRAYERS WILL BE HEARD AND ANSWERED BY LIVING GOD (Keep in mind they will be answered in God's Perfect Way and Time, not in your time or way).
As well as praying, begin reading your Bible. A good version to get, that is a good one to start with because it is easy to understand, is The New Living Translation. If you do not have a Bible, somehow get one. Pray and ask The Lord, your God to send you a Bible if you have no way of getting one. He will, and that’s your first answer to prayer. Praise and thank Him for your Bible and then begin to read it.
"Help me to want to know Your truth and to understand things they way You see them. Help me to trust You and follow You so I don’t lean on my own understanding of things. I ask You to establish my steps to follow Your truth forever. Thank You for always revealing truth to me. AMEN!"
[ Always say “thank you” at the end of your prayer to The Lord. This pleases Him and tells Him that you believe He heard you and is answering you. This is true faith in action. It tells The Lord that you believe He heard you, and that you believe that your answer is on the way. Saying, "Thank You" to God, even before you see the answer, moves God to answer your prayers more quickly than anything else you can do. Begging God to answer you does no good. Just "thank" Him and wait for the answer. He will answer you in His Perfect Will, Way, and Time, and you will know it. Believe it!]
MEMORIZE:
Live this way towards Living God in all your ways and He will be with you and will always guide you in the right way for your life.
You can also pray prayers from the Psalms. This is a prayer book. Here are some suggestions to get you started:
You also learn about the character of God in the Psalms.
Then, go to James, Philippians, Colossians, Ephesians, 2 Corinthians, 1 Peter, Romans, and Acts.
You will also want to read Proverbs, which is God’s wisdom for daily living.
Don't stop with these. Continue on through the whole Bible.
Do not neglect the Old Testament. It has truth in it that never changes. You will come to understand that at this present time in history, God Almighty is fulfilling The Words He prophesied through His holy prophets as written down by them in the Old Testament. (The Holy Spirit will teach you this truth, if you ask Him.)
These are only suggestions. You may read whatever you want to read whenever you want to. Just start reading your Bible and ask The Holy Spirit to teach you and give you understanding in what you are reading. He will. Believe it and expect it!

For The Lord is God,...and He says, ‘I am The Lord, and there is no other. I publicly proclaim bold promises. I do not whisper obscurities in some dark corner so no one can understand what I mean. And I did not tell the people of Israel to ask Me for something I did not plan to give. I, the Lord, speak only what is true and right. Isaiah 45:18-19
After you have prayed asking True and Living God to forgive you, and to change your ways and help you live in His Ways, and to be The Lord of Your life, believe that He heard you. Trust and believe that as soon as you prayed, He began to answer you and is bringing His new ways into your life. Watch for Him to do this for you. He is listening and He hears your prayers. So expect Him to answer you and He will. You will not be disappointed. Don’t give up after only one prayer. Keep on asking and talking to your heavenly Father.
PRAY:
“Living God of heaven and earth, I have accepted Your way of salvation, and I have made You The Lord of my life. Now, I want to know You and Your ways. I ask You to begin teaching me how to know you so I can follow You for the rest of my life. Thank You, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN!”PRAY:
Oh, Lord, I choose not to do anything outside Your will, but if I do, let me know it and teach me how to stay in your will and do only those things that delight You. Let me do only those things that bring You honor and glory. Thank You. AMEN!PRAY:
Father in heaven, I ask You in Jesus’ Name, to teach me to know Your Holy Spirit, Who is The One Who helps me to know You by teaching me about Jesus, my Savior. As I read my Bible, send Your Holy Spirit to help me understand what I am reading. Thank You.”
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him and seek His Will and He will direct your paths."
Start reading your Bible and begin with the book of The Bible called 1 John. Look in the beginning of your Bible where all the books of The Bible are listed along with the page number. After reading 1 John, read the book of John, which is one of The Gospels of Jesus Life. Then read Matthew, Mark, and Luke the other Gospels of Jesus’ life.
Oh, Lord Almighty, I cry out to You: “Give me ears to hear what You are saying. I am listening to You. Grant to me understanding so I can respond correctly to what you are speaking to me for these last days. Thank You. AMEN!”

And this is the confidence which we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have obtained the requests made of Him. Jesus said, ‘If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. These things have I spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.’
John 15:7-8, 11
1 John 5:14-15
Anytime you are reading The Word of God in The Bible you can make a prayer from the Word of God you are reading, which The Holy Spirit makes alive to you. This prayer is your heart cry to The Lord in response to His Word He is speaking to you from The Bible. This is faith praying. Doing this, is the way you pray in faith and know that God hears you and will answer you.
The prayers in this prayer section are examples of faith praying. Anyone can do it and should do it. This is true faith praying according to God's Word.
PRAY:
Psalm 121
I look to You, Lord, because You are the only one who can give me the help I need. Oh, Lord, send me help exactly when I need it. Don’t allow me to be moved by fear. Thank You for protecting me from all my enemies, and for keeping my life from all evil, and for watching over me as I go about my daily tasks. I trust You to help me and to keep me from all harm and danger. You are My God and my Lord, and I love You. I trust You to keep me and guard me from all the evil and wickedness that is around me so nothing touches me to harm me. You alone are able to do this. Thank you for doing this and for being my God and my Lord. AMEN
Lord, I believe Your words that You spoke to Isaiah when the people of Israel were afraid of their enemies:
The Lord has said to me in the strongest terms: “Do not think like everyone else does. Do not be afraid that some plan conceived behind closed doors will be the end of you. Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty. He alone is the Holy One. If you fear
(reverence and honor) Him, you need fear nothing else. He will keep you safe.
Isaiah 8:11-14
I choose not to fear, but to trust You and stay in the safety of Your presence. Thank You for being near me and never leaving me alone. AMEN!
Psalm 91
Oh, Lord, Most High, I live in the shelter of Your presence, and rest myself in You, The Almighty and Living God. I find my refuge and place of safety in You alone. You are my God, and I am trusting You to keep me in this place of safety.
You, O Lord, rescue me from every trap and protect me from the fatal plague. Your faithful promises are what protect me and keep me from being afraid of all the forms of terror that stalk me.
Therefore, I say to You, I am not afraid of the terrors of the night, and I don’t fear the dangers of the day. Neither do I dread the plague that stalks in darkness, or the disaster that strikes at midday.
By faith in You, I say that even though thousands are dying around me and even falling at my side, none of these evils will touch me, because You are with me and You are protecting me.
Because I live in Your presence and stay in Your place of safety, no evil will conquer me, no plague will come near me or the place where I live, because You have ordered Your angels to protect me wherever I am. I am trusting Your angels to keep me safe, and I believe that they are keeping me from all danger. Thank You.
In Your Name, I have power to say to all my enemies, “Stop it! Go away from me and leave me alone. I belong to Jesus Christ, and He is protecting me from all your plans to harm me and try to take me away from Him. You cannot do it. God is with me and He is against you, and so am I. So, go away, in Jesus’ Name, and leave me alone.”
Lord, You rescue me and protect me, because I trust in Your Name to do this for me. When I call on You, I believe that you answer me. I believe that You are with me in trouble. I know that You will rescue me and honor me because I love You. You satisfy me with a long life, and You give me my salvation. Thank You with all my heart.
Lord Jesus, I believe Your Word in Mark 16:15-18, 20
Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in My Name, and they will speak new languages. They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won't hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them. And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and The Lord worked with them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
Therefore, because I truly believe You and trust that Your Word is true, I will not be afraid. I will obey You and live Your Word by doing it. I ask You, Holy Spirit, to help me do all these things with Your power when the occasion arises that I need do them. Thank You. Use me to do this Word so that many people who don't know about Jesus' salvation from evil may have the opportunity to know You, and to choose Your way of salvation.
Because Paul prayed this prayer for all believers in Colossians 1:9-14, I pray and ask You, Father, in Jesus’ Name and by the power of Your Holy Spirit to:
Fill me with the knowledge of The Lord’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, and to give me the ability to walk worthy of The Lord fully pleasing Him, and to be fruitful in every good work, and to increase in the knowledge of God. I ask You to strengthen me with all might through Your glorious power that is so mightily at work within me, and to give me the ability to persevere and to be patient in any kind of situation with joy; and to joyfully give thanks to The Father, Who has qualified me to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light, and has delivered me from the domain of darkness and transferred me into the Kingdom of His beloved Son, in Whom I have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Thank You. I believe and trust that because I have asked You, You are indeed working this truth in me and helping me to live in it daily.
By faith in Christ Jesus, my Lord, I have the anointing of the Holy Spirit living within me to believe Your Word in 1 John 2:27:
...the anointing you have received from The Holy One lives and abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you what is true. For the anointing of The Holy Spirit teaches you about everything, and what He teaches you is true, and is not a lie. So continue in what He has taught you, and continue to live and abide in Christ.
Therefore, I say, I have perfect knowledge and understanding of every situation and circumstance that I am up against, because The Spirit of Truth abides in me and teaches me all things. I have no need that anyone else should teach me truth, for what He teaches me is truth and is no lie.
