We wish to extend our gratitude to our faithful readers and again want to share our reader response with you. Below are a "few" of the letters we've received in response to the spring issue of Black Doll-E-Zine.

"Deb and Zee,
I have just finished reading the e-zine, and I am just as excited about this issue as I was with the first!  You two have truly outdone yourselves.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such an outstanding contribution to the doll collecting world. -- Jamia"

"Debbie and Zee
The magazine was awesome as usual.  I enjoyed reading about Mary Osdell especially.  I never have seen her originals and it surely was a pleasure to receive such knowledge about her.  Please keep up the great work. -- Shirl"

"I LOVE THE SPRING ISSUE OF BLACK DOLL E-ZINE. DOLL READER WATCH OUT. -- NANCY J."

"Dear Deb:
This newsletter is the greatest! For years I have searched the Internet for information just on black dolls. I like everything about it. I especially like your articles on doll artists and collectors. I found your doll care article to be most helpful. I have over 400 dolls. The majority are black. (I also have oriental and Native American dolls.) I have all types & with the oldest being at least 100 years old. Being a former history teacher I love to do research and discover who my doll is. Please continue the good work. I'm looking forward to the next and future issues! Bonnie Lewis"

"I enjoyed the E-Zine, especially the info on the Keisha dolls. I might still have one of the old Keisha Doll brochures in my closet somewhere. Harriett"

"First I would like to compliment you and your staff for publishing another interesting and informative issue on Black dolls.

I am also writing to request the questionnaire to complete in the event I am selected to share information about my collection ...

Regardless of whether or not  information about my collection is included in a future issue I will continue to look forward to reading what other collectors have to share about their dolls... Roberta Bolton"

"Debbie,

I really enjoyed reading your Spring Edition. I look forward to many more! Hopefully I can add some pictures to your collection when I return to the states.

Your doll friend,

Karen"

"I just learned how to use the computer exactly 1 month ago, and to my pleasure I found your fabulous black doll-e-zine website. Love it, but found out sadly that one of my favorite doll artists passed away... I will be looking forward to your next issue. Marva"

"Thank you so much Debbie and Zee for your wonderful contribution to Black Doll collecting.  You have indeed filled a void in the doll collecting community.  I have learned so much from reading the issues and cannot wait until the next one comes out !!  I was so honored that you selected my dolls to profile in your first edition.  Please keep up the good work!!  Valerie."

God Bless you sisters, I've been waiting for a site like this!

I'm a collector and artist, who's been featured on HGTV's Collectable Treasures and recently designed a African American dolls (Autumn and Andre) for the Portage Pals collection. Also I'm currently working on a photography book of my artistry (see attachment). I've made my passion for dolls of color a "power of play" movement, which inspires children to love dolls that reflect their beauty and culture.

What can folks do to ensure the success of this precious gift you've given us?

In Spirit and PEACE, Robin

Recently, I had a conversation with my mother-in-law, and she stated that there were no black doll collector's. This e-zine proves her wrong, and as soon as I am done e-mailing you I will send her the address to the e-zine. I am thoroughly impressed. My cousin and I read this first issue. I loved your and your co-editor's work. I encourage you and your co-editor to continue. Great work! I look forward to reading the next issue!

Yolanda
