UPPINA KUDRU - KUNDAPURA
Uppina Kudru is situated north to Kundapura or west to Thallur. Name has derived from history says once upon time people’s were producing salt and delivering through boats other villages. Today it is like normal village with all the felicities due road connection.
Many temples show historic background around 550 years. I am keen to this kudru. A late night watching valley balls match was real fun. Also remembering Kala Samuha’s stage play. Wish to see reached at 11 pm still play was not started. Here it is custom that the play should finish at early morning then people can go back to their home (like Yakshaghana). It was some different experience to me while coming back through NH 17 with my cousin. Dark night with hush. Fishing can also do side of this kudru.
