If go towards nothern side of Kuadapura, you will pass through several bridges. On River Souparnika River based bridge called in local "Arate Bridge" is talled bridge in South Canara. If you stand in between of it and look at West side then you find a island with wide ranged water. This is called "Kannada Kudru"

This island is most beautiful than other river islands around Kundapura. Also it has long history. But still these island have got primary school & Chapel.

Even if you see eastern side from the same bridge also can experience beautiful scenary of western mountains.
