Richmond Renegades Ready For Playoffs

After having their 6-game unbeaten streak finally stopped in a close 5-2 loss to Grandview Midget, the Richmond Bantam Renegades where out to prove themselves against the then first place Burnaby Winter Club. Led by goals from Matt Greenwood, Pavle Djuricanin, A.J. Mackenzie and Dominic Jugovic, the Renegades dominated defensivly in a impressive 4-1 victory. The victory was all the more savoured as Richmond was missing 6 regualers and the goalie didn't show up till the end of the first. Jugovic played as a 6th attacker/goaltender in the first period and made 5 nice saves without wearing any goalie equipment. Jordan Cosulich had a hatrick and a assist in a 9-5 boxing day victory over Killarney. After a 9-3 loss to the powerfull Richmond Midget team, the Renegades played the Vancouver Thunderbird Midjet team and came out on top 5-4. Renegade goalie Ramsey Pretty made several key saves to help win the game. Richmond then played a stronger Killarney team and won 3-1. Kyle Cambell and Micheal Hartman played strong defensivly. The next day the Renegades played again against another Killarney team. Gaelen Mogan exploded for 5 goals and Jugovic, Greenwood and Ian Stutt had 3 points each as Richmond won 11-0. The renegades can't wait for the playoffs to start!
