A little over 3 minutes into the game , Richmond drew first blood as Tyler Epp and Dominic Jugovic got the puck to Daniel Pi who roofed the puck over the T-Birds goalie at 12:51 of the first. Five minutes later , Jay Howard powered his way up the blue-line , passed the puck to Chad Oyhenart who dished it out to Tyler Epp who in turn blasted a one-timer past the T-Birds goaltender's 5-hole . The Renegades had a 2-0 lead and where looking darn good ! With time winding down in the third , Tyler Epp got the puck off of an Shawn Scott save and passed it far off to Dominic Jugovic. Jugovic corralled the pucked and went flying at the same time into the net . Well the puck followed him and Dominic had a beauty - Glen Anderson - Type of a goal . THis came with 7 seconds left in the first and the Renegades had a surprising 3-0 lead at the first intermission !!
Midway into the 2nd. the T-Birds scored an even-strength goal and than a short-handed goal and they seemed like they where coming back and the Renegades good fortunes where about to end . Notso ! Daniel Pi made a strong defensive play by intercepting a scoring attempt by a T-Bird player and than passing the puck off to Yong Min Kim . Kim got the puck to Jay Howard and the puck went flying once again into the T-Birds net! This was a power-play goal at 8:42 of the second. Three minutes later Dominic Jugovic went for a skate on the right side of the rink , deeked out a few T-Birds and wisped the puck off to Gaelen Mogan who had no choice but to shot a one-timer into the net for the Renegades 5th Goal. In the final minute of the second period , The Richmond Midget C-5 Renegades continued their dominance over the T-Birds as Jay Howard passed the puck off to 3rd Year Midget Veteran Tyler Epp and he scored to give the Renegades a 6-2 lead at the 2nd intermission !
The Renegades where really tired out by the third but kept on playing with heart - the way that got them so far in this game . The T-Birds where frustrated and took a few penalties in the third which gave the Renegades a 5 on 3 . The Richmond Renegades put on an ICe Hockey Clinic with their 5 on 3 power-play , passing the puck back and forth and skating circles around the hapless ThunderBird defenseman. Jay Howard and Dominic Jugovic picked up assists on the 5 0n 3 power play goal by Tyler Epp at 12:58 of the Third. At 6:27 of the third , Tyler Epp broke a T-Bird scoring opportunity and passed the puck off to Jay Howard who in-turn dished it out to Yong Min Kim . Kim shot upstairs to give the Renegades an 8-2 lead ! Less than two minutes later , Epp passed the puck off to Chad Oyhenart and he deeked out the goalie for his first goal of the night. Vancouver scored their only goal of the third with 18 seconds left as the puck went past Shawn Scott's 5-hole.
As the buzzer rang signifying the end of the game , The Renegades celebrated as if they had won an important playoff game . Everyone was full of spirits and in the locker-room they partied for a while !
This truly is one , if not the greatest game that the Renegades have ever played ! Only 2 subs compared to a staggering 8 for Vancouver , the Richmond Midget C-5's came out on top , big time on top with a gigantic 9-3 thrashing ! After going 7-games without a win and being in their worst-slump ever , The Richmond Renegades are now on a two-game winning streak ! The Renegades current record is 6 Wins 8 Losses One Tie for 13 points in 15 games thus far. Point-wise Tyler Epp had 3 Goals and 4 assists for 7 points , Jay Howard and Dominic Jugovic had 1 Goal and 3 Assists for 4 Points , and Daniel Pi , Chad Oyhenart , Yong Min Kim and Gaelen Mogan all had 1 Goal and 1 Assist for a 2 points a piece ! Even Goalie Shawn Scott had 1 Assist for 1 Point ! Every player tonight for the Richmond Renegades had a point !What a Game !!!

Starcade is WCW's priemere Wrestling Event and it's actually 4 months older than WWF's WrestleMania. Starcade is the oldest annually run Pro-Wrestling Paper-View Spectacular . This year's main event is Current WCW World Heavy-Wieght Champion Scott Steiner Vs. The Challenger Sid Viscious . It's gonna be a thrilla in Washington D.C. and so are my Chips , Dips and Liquid Beverages !!
