The Richmond Renegades started their playoffs losing 3 Games in a row . Than they won 6-2 and 3-2 with a last second goal . Game 6 turned out to be another " Classic at Minoru Silver " .
In a rink with a lot of history , this game will go down in the books as one of the most Memorable . C-6 had a 5-1 lead with under 5 Minutes left in this important Playoff game as their players where scating bullets and C-6 goalie Ramsey Pretty was giving out his best efforts .Then the Renegades started to roll . Defenceman Chris Hawrysh took a David Mo and Sean Hori pass and scored . Second later the line consisting of Forwards Sadiq Jeani and A.J. McKenzie got the puck to Centreman Dominic Jugovic and he whistled a beauty of a wrist shot past the stunned Pretty . Then dangerous Ryan Halfnights gave the puck to speedy Jonathan Lai . Lai deeked out a few C-6 defenders and got the puck to captain Jay Howard who hiding behind the net . Howard took his million-dallar hands and shovels that puck in .
The fans where yelling , everybody was going wild , talk about playoff intensity !! For two minutes the teams went back and forth with close chanches . A Few players where playing in their last games ever in the old Silver Minoru rink as a few Midget players will retire at the end of the season ; so the players where playing their hearts out .
Then with under 10 seconds left . Dominic Jugovic hustled hard for the puck , bodychecked a few people and made a blind pass to defenceman Scott Roberts . Roberts shot the puck , Pretty made the save and their was wild scamble for the puck as it came lose . One man was open : Sadiq Jeani . He shot the puck at the C-6 Goalies scate and it trickled in with 6 Seconds remaining !! The place went nuts . The Renegades hugged each other in Jubilation !!
Even if the Renegades don't make it to the final , this game will be enough of a victory . For Renegade players playing their last game in this Minoru Silver Arena , it was a heck of a way to go out !!
