Richmond Midget C-4 Too Strong !!!

Sunday Afternoon was another installment of the battle of Richmond . The Rockets last played the Renegades a week ago and came back from a 3-0 second period deficit to won 8-3 . This game was even better for the Rockets as they never trailed once and had some awesome goal scoring moments. In the middle of the second , the Richmond Midget C-4 Rockets scored 4 goals in 55 seconds ! They also scored 4 goals in 3 minutes and 21 seconds in the third . In the end the score read Richmond Midget C-4 Rockets 13 , Richmond Midget C-5 Renegades 4 . Ouch !! This game set a fratility record for the Renegades , a negative one . 13 goals is the most the Renegades have ever given up in a game and 6 goals ( scored by Richmond Midget C-4 in the second and third periods ) is the most goals the Renegades have given up in a period . The Vancouver Midget C-1 squad held both of those old records as they once beat the Renegades 11-1 and scored 5 goals in a period ; twice in that game. Last year the Renegades where beaten 12-5 by the Richmond Midget Blazers but the Renegades where a Bantam team last year so that 12 goals was the unnoficial record , which has been broken on Sunday by the Rocket's 13 goals.

On the bright side , Yong Min Kim had his best game of the season with a personal season high of 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points . Darci Pi continued his move up the scoring chart with 2 goals and 1 assist . Dominic Jugovic continues to better his personal career-high assists total . With two assists on Sunday , Jugovic now has a team-leading 25 for the current 2000-2001 season . Chad Oyhenart had the other goal while Carl Chia , Tim Lin and Daniel Pi each had one assist .
