2001-2002 Season Preview !!

WELL WELL WELL !!! What a Summer of 2001 it was !! It was the best summer in 11 years !! Not since the summer of 1990 have we had such a dry and warm summer . And we had an Indian Summer as well , up till Late Saturday Night October.6'2001 When the clouds started rolling in and bringing in the real fall . And with the Fall comes Ice Hockey Season !!! 2001-2002 , another season another breat of excitement . Now everyone knows that Ice Hokcey is Canada's Game and the most exciting jubilant game in the World . Well this year , the League Cordinators have decided to merge Bantam with Midget !! This game-breaking anouncement has reaked shivers upon many spines . With Bantam and Midget mixed ,there will : 1. Be More Games 2. Be More Teams 3. Be More Tournaments 4. Be More Games At Other Arenas Other Than Richmond RIC , Minuru and SunSet 5. Be A Lot More Fun 6. Play Those Punks From Burnaby Winter Club Again !! 2001-2002 Promises to be an exciting season !! I Web Master J.J. have been extremely busy with the making of my 4 Th Rap Album and have not been able to update this page in 3 Months . Well Now the Ice Hockey Season is here so I shall do my best to update the action .

Today The Renegades Played Their first exhibition game and boy was it a dandy !! I don't have the player's Roster yet so untill I get that I can't give you the complete game report . I can tell you however that the Renegades have many key players back this year such as Jay Howard , Dominic Jugovic , A.J. McKenzie and a Whole Slow of new players from Bantam and Midget . The Renegades where up 3-2 at one point but lost 5-4 . The Refereeing was horrible .The Renegades had 2 Goals called Back , and they should have been goals . Howard and Jugovic had goals called back because the ref said they where in the crease . B.S. !! Atrocious Refeeing ! Thank godness it's only an exhibition game ! Ramsey Pretty played for the opposing Richmond Team and looked real solid but shaky on shots on low wristers . More Later !! Stay Tuned !!

By The Way , Jay's Dad , Howard , our Coach Last Season , has taken up politics !! He is running as a City Councillor for the Richmond NPA Party . Derek Pang is trying to become the Mayor and is the head of this party . So on Saturday October.13'2001 Vote For The Richmond NPA ( Non-Partisan Association ) !!! Support A Fellow Richmond Renegade ! Vote For Derek Dang !!!
