Born at Fort Weyr to dragonriders R'gis, green Seth's rider and Alician, brown Winurth's rider. She is currently Senior Weyrwoman at Janus Weyr. She was fostered to Lena and Dorn, both Journeyman tanners at Southern Hold, and was apprenticed to the Healer Craft at age twelve. By age sixteen, she was a Journeyman and assigned to Janus Weyr, where she Impressed gold Cameleonth that same Turn. Her dragon's first three Mating flights were with bronze Aernath. But, his rider, D'vere, was a better Archivist than Weyrleader, and knew it. He began to take Aernath elsewhere when Cameleonth was due to Rise. He returned once more when Weyrleader J'than and Soberinth were injured in Threadfalls. Nimaleah is an amateur flutist and gitarist. She enjoys a good cup of Benden white or Xenon mead. She has a good sense of humor, and is quick to laugh. But she can be serious when she must be. She is also a better hand at healing people than dragons, though she treats anyone who's injuries are not overly critical and will assist on those cases. She is slightly deaf in her right ear and, being left handed, she plays her gitar "backwards". Nimaleah likes bright colors, which look good on her 5'3", 110 pound form. She prefers skirts over pants, except during Fall. She tries to find unusual earrings, but wears little other jewelry. She also learned how to use a knife at Southern Hold and is skilled enough to protect herself, though not as proficiently as Gemma. Cameleonth is the only dragon she can hear clearly, though she can pick up the emotions of other dragons and people. She has two firelizards, bronze Lorran and green Trilby. And a son each by D'vere and J'than.
