His parents were Adric and Shallyna who were of a small Southern Holding. When he was but two turns of age, both parents were killed in a rockslide and he was adopted by his maternal aunt, Marina, who is a Janus Weyr Lower Caverns woman. When he was sixteen turns of age, he Stood as a Candidate for the thirteenth Clutch of Senior Queen Cameleonth and Impressed his blue weyrmate. A'lyn is always cheerful and dressed in bright colors -- like reds and blues -- though, most of the time, the ripped hems, dirty face and falling down pants do not bespeak of a rider of a mature dragon. Watch out, the lad is a prankster and likes to hear (and tell) stories. He stands 5'11" and weighs 160 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.
