HELP WITH THE FORMAT OF A
LABORATORY REPORT

Your laboratories provide the opportunity to do hands-on
work that re-enforce the theory of the interactive
lectures. Laboratories also help students who are unable
to perform well on exams. If you have a job and don't
take time for daily study, at least do your laboratory
reports. They provide a balance in evaluation
since students are given time to read references and
organize reports at home. Always have the bulk of your
lab outlined within two days of the lab. This
means that you should have some "rough" points outlined
for all important discussion. The final report
is usually due within four to seven days, depending on
the length and complexity of the lab.
