Getting the car ready for the race.. (my ass in the jeans)
One of my first solo races
All the racing pictures were taken at Mission race way, in Mission BC. i race for my high school (New Westminster Secondary School) our team consits of 3 members yes that sounds small, but hey this is our first season. We have our two drives myself and mark, the third member is our teacher Mr. Spring. The car we race is a 1972 Dodge Demon, we have done 90% of the work in the, it has taken six years to get the car ready. Our car can do the 1/4 mile in a average (when i'm driving, i do not have the info for Marks averages yet.) of 13.82 seconds, my average reaction time (off the line) was .592 ( a perfict is .500) and a average speed of 95.30 MP/H. This is very good considering all the engine parts are stock, and we have not done any motifictions to the 318 dodge engine. Unlike some school we prefrom witht he help of no sponsorship. And i know i'm quite proud of the way our car looks. The next race we are goign to is April 6th 2001,well the shit hit the fan,the April 6th race has been cancelled due to the fucking rain. the next race i will be driving in is May 18....
