Epilogue
...Don’t know what I’m living for,
Cuz here I am, so alone, and there’s nothing that I wouldn’t do.
Until you’re back here baby,
Miss you, want you, need you so,
Until you’re back here baby yeah…
There’s a feeling inside, I want you to know,
You are the one, and I can’t…
Let you go…

*Three years later*
Catherine gently put the bouquet of flowers in front of the tombstone. She muttered some prayers and stood up.
Her husband stood behind her, playing with their two-year-old son whom he carried. Their nine-year-old son stood beside his father, laughing at the silly jokes he was pulling to entertain his two children. Gradually, he noticed that Catherine was waiting for him, and gave her a sheepish smile. He put his two-year-old son down and gave the younger one’s hand to the older brother to hold.
“Get back to the car now Tommy, hold Ryan’s hand, don’t let him run too far! Papa’s got to take care of your mother there.” He watched them run back to the car and walked back to Catherine, offering his arm.
“I wonder how the fans are going to take it. First me, then him.” Brian confided.
“The fans will respect his decision. After all, they respected yours, though you can’t please everyone.”
She remembered the cards that were sent to her...calling her a slut, a bitch... she was glad she was strong. She was grateful that she had Brian to hold on to.
“Think a lot of people will turn up today?” Cat asked.
“I guess so. There would be thousands; media, fans…his wedding will be so much more crowded than ours.” He put his ear to her stomach and chuckled to himself.
“What’s so funny?” she asked, laughing along with him.
“Just wondering how’s Brian Jr. the third is doing…can’t wait for him to come out.”
“Well, you’ve gotta wait for another 6 months then. He won’t be due till then.”
Brian gazed into his wife’s clear green eyes and pushed back tendrils of blond curls that had strayed to her face. “I won’t mind waiting. As long as I’m with you,” he whispered, pulling her close for a kiss.
Their lips merely brushed each other when Tommy’s voice high-pitched voice rang out. “Papa! Mama! Stop necking! We’re gonna be late for Uncle Nicky and Auntie Elle’s wedding! Come on now!”
Brian and Catherine looked at each other. They slowly made their way to the car together, all the while talking in hushed tones.
“Did you teach him that word, ‘necking’?”
“No I didn’t! Did you?”
“Nope. Well…that leaves one person then…”
“Oh yeah, HIM. I’m gonna get Nick at the wedding…”
“You’d better…”
