Chapter 4
One Phone Call That Changed Anna and Alissa's lives forever
The guys have been gone for a month. Brian called Alissa almost every night. Some times they'd talk for five minutes some times they'd talk for hours. Anna was surprised that AJ still kept in touch with her. He called her 3 or 4 times a week.
It was a typical day for the girls. They were at the club all afternoon and went home to have dinner befor the club opened and they had to go back. They were making pasta when Anna's cell phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Anna! Hey it's AJ!"
"Hey AJ, Is something wrong?"
"Yeah, I or we, realy need your help and Alissa's."
"For what?"
"Ok, two of our dancers collided and fell off stage last night. Lynn broke her leg and Emmy broke her arm and twisted her ancle. We need a couple of dancers."
Oh, sorry I don't think I know anyone."
"I was thinking you and Lissy could do it"
"Yeah right! Are you for real?"
"You both can dance just as good as our dancers. I know you can do it!"
"Umm, wow. I don't know AJ."
"Come on please, please, please, please..."
"Ugh, ummm, ok."
"Alright you have to take the next flight here. It's already been arranged."
She got all the details from him and they hung up. "Lissy,go pack! We'r going to N.Y. I'll explain in a minute." Alissa went to pack and Anna called the club to make sure everything would be taken care of while they were gone. When she hung up a very confused looking Alissa came out with her bags. "What the hell is going on?" Alissa asked her. Alissa fallowed Anna to her room and she explained as she packed.
"What?! I can't dance on stage in front of thousands of people!"
"Yes you can! We both know how to dance. We can do this Lissy. It'll be so much fun!"
They arived in N.Y. at ten p.m. They got off the plane and looked around to see who was there to pick them up. All the sudden they noticed to guys wearing jeans, hawiian shirts, sunglasses and cow boy hats running up to them.
"Can I have your autograph?!" One yelled.
"Yeah, yeah! Me too!" The other one yelled.
The girls bursted out laughing when thay recognized the voices, it was Nick and Brian. People were pointing and staring when the girls started to walk away and the guys were still bugging them for an autograph. They got out side and got into the van waiting for them.
"Your guys are crazy." Anna said laughing so hard she had tears.
"You should have seen the looks on your faces when we ran up to you. It was priceless!" Nick said also laughing.
They got to the hotel and the girls jaws dropped when they walked in. It was huge and the most beautiful hotel they had ever seen. The guys showed them to thier room they would share and left so the girls could get some sleep befor the long day ahead of them.
Anna was startled from sleep when the phone wrang.
"Hello?" She mumbled.
"Hello, Miss Anna. This is your wake up call. I suggest you get out of bed and get your cute ass down stairs."
"Cute AJ. It's only five a.m. I thought I had till seven?"
"Change of plans. Wake Lissy up and be down there in about an hour."
"Yes, sir!"
"So have you missed me? Excited to see me?"
"Hardly."
"It's ok, I kow ya did."
"AJ, shut up."
"Alrighty. See ya in a few." He said lightly laughing and hung up.
The girls went to a studio with AJ, Brian and for some reason they didn't know why, but Nick woke up early and also went along.
"Ok girls. I'v never seen you dance befor so I dont know what I'm working with, but the guys say your good and I'm trusting them." Fatimah said playfully eyeing them. They practiced for hours. The girls were quick learners and were getting all the routeens down good. Finally at noon they took a lunch break and went back to the hotel for a little bit.
They sat in the girls room and ate Mc Donalds. After they ate Anna fell back on her bed.
"I'm so tired and we still have alot of rehursing to do." She whinned.
"You'll get used to it." AJ told her sitting next to her.
"Your both doing realy good. Your picking up the steps fast with no problem." Brian said sitting on the floor leaning Alissa's bed.
"I'm going to be so nervous in front of thousands of people though." Alissa said.
"Yeah, butt you'll get used to it." Brian assured her.
They went back and continued learning the routeens. Finally at nine p.m. Fatimah was satisfied and told them they could go, but they had to be at the stadium tommorow at two thirty in the afternoon to rehurse with the other dancers.
Alissa showered first when they got back to the hotel since she was going out with Brian. After Anna took her shower she threw in her boxers and a tank top and went to get into bed. Befor she climbed in her bed there was a knock at the door. It was AJ. She let him in and they sat on her bed with the tv on.
"Hungry?" He asked and she nodded. "Pizza?"
"Sure."
AJ ordered a pizza and made himself comfortable on her bed. She started rubbing the back of her neck and AJ looked at her.
"Neck hurt?" He asked.
"My whole body hurts!" She whinned.
"Here lay down." He said moving over and she gave him a funny look. "I give killer body rubs."
"Uh huh, sure ya do." She said with a giggle.
"Realy, I do."
"I don't know AJ..."
"Ugh, Lay down!"
She layed down on her stomach and AJ leaned over. He started at her shoulders and moved his hands down her arms. He then went from the top of the back of her neck down her back. When his hands were getting further down her back almost to her butt she jumped and turned onto her side.
"Anna, relax. I'm not gonna try cop a feel." He said with a sincere smile.
She rolled back on her belly and he continued down her legs. He was right, his strong hands gently rubbed every aching muscle. It felt so good and she was so relaxed she could have fallen asleep, but there was a knock at the door and a man hallored "Pizza!" "I got it." AJ said jumping off the bed. They ate pizza and layed on her bed watching the end of Letterman. AJ turned to her and she was alseep. She looked so peacefull. He pulled the blanket out from under her and covered her up. He was walking to the door when he heard her screem. He went back over to her. "Anna, Wake up!" She opened her eyes and saw AJ standing over her. "You were having a bad dream." He told her. "I do every night." She said and AJ knew what they were about. She looked away from him at the wall. He stood there for a moment looking at her. Then he slid in the bed under the blanket. Anna shot him a dirty look, but he didn't see it. He was facing the wall away from her. When he didn't make any attempt to move close to her she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
Brian and Alissa went for a late night walk through central park. They cuddled close together on a bench and enjoyed the nice night.
"I realy missed you." Brian said softly.
Alissa locked her eyes to his and smiled. "I missed you too." She told him and cuddled up closer to him. They didn't talk much. They just enjoyed being able to be close to each other and alone. They got back to the hotel and Brian walked her to her room. She opened the door and peeked in to see AJ and Anna asleep in the same bed. "Ugh, can I stay in your room? AJ's in there." She asked Brian and he moved around her trying to look in the room. "Is he naked?" He asked laughing a little. "No." She said with a giggle and playfully slapped his arm.
