Hello, since somebody asked for a Spoilers section, here it is!
WARNING: If you are only in the beginning of the game or something, do not look through here, obviously it will spoil it for you. This is not a walkthrough, so it will not help you with your game! Okay, not that we have gotten that out of the way, this section will have minor and
major spoilers, but to remind you, my memory is not good, so the information might be a little wrong, if it is, please e-mail me about it! I also have not played the entire game, so I won't every little fact! Plus this section won't have every thing on the game, just bits here and there. I'll add more info as this site progresses!
Squall's Life and more:
Okay, Squall's family is quite complicated, so I'll try to be as clear and as accurate as possible...
Squall Leonhart, as a kid, lived in an orphanage (or something like an orphanage, it was actually Edea's house)
with Qusitis, Ellone, Selphie, Irvine, Zell, and Seifer. Ellone was the eldest and Squall called her Sis. The person called the Matron was Edea (as in Sorceress Edea) and she basically looked and cared after them.
Squall's parents are Laguna Loire and Raine. The game doesn't come right out and say it, but there is substantial
evidence that this is so.....
Some point in the game, Kiros tells Squall that Ward is thinking what a good thing it is that Squall doesn't resemble his father. And then Kiros tells Squall that he resembles his mother.
Now Raine died after Squall was born and so he was sent to the orphanage along with Ellone.
After Ellone left, Squall became very depressed and lonely, sorta like keeping up his reputation of being a lone
wolf!
Rinoa's Life:
Well, Rinoa Heartilly is General Caraway and Julia's daughter.
Julia is Laguna's love, basically, but when Laguna left for war, well, Julia met General Caraway and married him
and had Rinoa. Julia died in car accident(thanks to a bunch of people for the info).
Rinoa is in a resistance faction called the Forest Owls and meets Squall when Squall goes on a mission to help the Forest Owls assassinate
the President.
Rinoa has a dog named Angelo which helps her sometimes during battles.
Love:
Well, if you are playing the game right now and haven't gotten to the parts where Rinoa and Squall gets together,
well, they do get together (I could actually imagine the groans of the Squall fans right now!) and from the looks of it they live pretty much happily ever after.
Not sure but I think Selphie and Irvine gets together, plus Zell has somebody to call his own, another See-D, but they didn't refer to her by a name, they just called her "Pony-tail Girl" (thanks to Andrea for the tip!). I know Quistis doesn't have anyone, she does like Squall though. Well, some more stuff fits in this section, but I'll talk about it in the Ending section.
The Ending:
After they defeat the final bosses, Squall is still pretty much compressed in time still and then he ends up in
this desert-like place, where he continues walking until he can't get any further. Then Squall almost dies, but fortunately Rinoa comes to his aid and it looks like he's dead, but if you watch after the credits, Squall and Rinoa are happily together.
Laguna has a flashback of him and Raine, he remembers putting the ring on her finger and then after he looks at Raine's tombstone, remembering his beloved wife(thanks to TLedbe for the info!) Raine died giving birth.
When the credits roll, you can see Irvine videotaping Selphie's Garden Festival. At the festival, Zell finally gets his hot dogs from the cafeteria (the cafe always ran out before he got to eat any). When Zell see Irvine videotaping him, he starts to choke and slams the table with his fist! (thanks to Lisa for the info!)
Other Facts:
Edea is Cid's (the headmaster) wife.
Okay, sorry about the bare bones facts, I haven't been through the entire game and so I don't know all the details. I did see the ending though, so I know some of that stuff. I'll try to add more as I get more info! Thanks for your patience!
