The Prince George Fire Fighters
v.s. the "Legends of Baseball" in

All Stars Baseball

In support of various Prince George charties

Since 1995 the Prince George fire fighters have been challenging the All Star Legends of baseball in this benefit slow-pitch match. In 1999 the R.C.M.P. joined forces with the fire fighters to form a combined team and have been refered to in fun as the "Guns-n-Hoses" Team ever since. In 2000, the fire fighters and Police played against "All Stars" including such stars as Bill "Spaceman" Lee, Burt Campaneris and Danny Cox.

In August of each year the about 10 fire fighters and 10 police officers join forces against the All Stars to raise funds for local charities. This past year over $5,000.00 was donated to the local chapter of Child Find B.C. Fire Fighter Rob Ingham co-ordinates the All Stars Baseball in Prince George on behalf of the fire fighters and the local charities. For more information on the All Stars check out the All Stars Baseball Homepage.
