| 1919 - The Ritz Keefer Hotel on George St. (where the present Ramada Hotel stands) was the location of the Fire Hall for a short period of time. It served as the temporary location between the time of the first hall at 4th and George (just across the street) and the completion of the new hall on the East side of City Hall on Patricia Blvd. During this time the Department was making the move from horse drawn fire wagons and sleighs to motorized fire trucks. |
