Lairs

A citadel has many different layers of suites. These are because of the different dragon colors, and the layers go as follows: at the top is silver, the next below is blue, then bronze, then gold. The main level is between the upper and lower ranking dragons. On the main level is the eating room, the lounge, the medical center, and the training centers. The next levels below are white, then green, and finally, at the bottom, purple. The lowest level of living space still never exceeds halfway down the enormous cliffs that house these cities. At the very bottom of the cliff, and sometimes underneath, is where the garbage disposal is, and up above it are the storage caverns.

A suite, or lair, consists of many rooms. There are two levels for the human to use, but only one for their dragon. The size of the suite depends on the size of the dragon. That is why the levels are categorized for colors. Each color has a different size, therefore making it easier for them to be on the same level. The builders of suites can then create a plan for the average size of each color, and not have to worry about size issues furthermore.

The inside of suites can vary. Suites have to have at least three windows due to light constrictions. Many people decide to put in more windows, however. In a female's suite (usually gold or higher), there would be a little patch of sand in case the dragon mated and clutched. Running underneath the human's section, there is a stream of clean water, used for drinking and bathing by the dragon and the human. There is one stream per suite, which means that no one gets used water.

A lair consists of a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a personal storage room. Only the people, not the dragons, use all these. Some people may move in with each other if necessary, but otherwise they stick to their own suites. Only the head female and male have their own separate lair above all else.
