Flight Formations

Flight Formation Information:
Dragons, like geese flying south, fly in a "V" formation. This is because the air currents create an easier flight for those in the back. Larger dragons generally fly in the front of the formation, helping out the smaller, less strong dragons. However, it is more complex than it looks. Dragons sometimes fly in large groups, sometimes adding up to 1500 some... This entire group is called a Wing. For the sake of not confusing you, I'll start at the bottom. The smallest V formation is called an "echelon". There can be up to 20 people in an echelon. Echelons are led by Junior Flightleaders. For every 6 Echelons, there is 1 Flight. Flights are led by Flightleaders. 6 Flights make up a Tier. Tiers are led by Senior Flightleaders. There are only 2 Tiers in a Wing, which is led by 2 Wingleaders.
All in all (including the leaders):
21 people in an Echelon
127 people in a Flight
768 people in a Tier
1540 people in a Wing
NOTE: There is more than one wing at a Citadel! They rotate fighting shifts!!
