There are 6 different colors of Canises: black, white, grey, brown, tawny brownish, and forest green. They don't have seperate personalities for the different colors, and they don't have any special powers. Canises are basically guardians, hunters, and, as usual, friends. They can be trained for different things, much like dogs from Earth times. Canises eat basically anything you give them, and if you don't give them food they seek it elsewhere. In the wild they eat taeka and the occasional ganra. They sometimes eat grass to balance things out. The main region they live in is coniforous forests and high mountain regions.
