Bonding Information:
Bonding is terribly difficult to explain, but I'll try. First of all, the egg is produced. It is made using genes of both the parent dragons. This fetal dragon has no color, and the mind is the last thing to fully develop. A dragon will readily bond with a human under any circumstance. Anyone who shows up when the dragons are hatching can bond with a dragon. The bond is purely mental, and here is what happens: First, the human comes within a certain distance of a dragon egg. The first egg's pheremones that reach the human is the egg that the bonded dragon will hatch out of. The eggs send of pheremones to trigger a dormant virus in any human's body, which signals to produce a certain type of chemical. This in turn sends chemical pheremones back to the egg, and this does not affect any of the other eggs. These pheremones send messages to the cells in the egg to create color pigmentation into the skin cells, and they reform the easily moldable DNA of the dragon to be either male or female (Dragons develop their reproductive parts after birth). Another part of the dragon that is adopted from the human's DNA is their mind. The human and the dragon, after the DNA transfer, form a simultaneous mental bond. The dragon hatches soon after, fully pigmented and mentally stable.
