...She glances at the photo and the pilot light of memory flickers in her eyes...
A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you
Brigitte Bardot

Bath, South West England
Even though this town was pretty touristy
there were none of the horrible modern attractions...
the beauty of the place spoke for itself ~bg~

St James' Park, London
Although I've been to London a few times in my life
I'd never really looked twice at this place before
Curt and I walked through here and it really is just beautiful ~bas~

The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben
..as seen from across the Thames River..
Still suitably important looking though, huh? ~l~

The London Eye
Gawd only knows why the Government thought that a huge ferris wheel
on the edge of the Thames would be a good way of celebrating the Millennium
but I have to admit, it would give some great views of London ~s~

The Victoria Statue
This huge sculpture is just outside Buckingham Palace
and provided a great place to stand to take photographs of the area ~l~

Buck House, London
(Buckingham Palace to all the tourists)
This is usually teeming with tourists but some big national event happening round the corner
meant we could at least get a semi-decent view ...even if we did have to stand across the street
to avoid the inevitable big guy with a camcorder or the gang of schoolkids... ~l~

Raining Much?
Curtis just had to take a picture of this because its so stereotypically British...
...psst, although it looks like it, that's not The Thames..thats the street beside The Thames... ~nod~ ~l~
