Ponder A Silly Sentence...
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
Isn't it strange that the dog did not realize that it was being jumped over, because, whether it was lazy or not, it should have still smelled the fox and barked a warning to any nearby chickens. Unless it was so lazy that it could not even use the energy to bark. In which case, the farmer, or whoever happens to own the dog, should get a new dog because if the dog is so listless that is cannot even bark it is useless for everything -except of course a furry welcome mat.
But aren't furry welcome mats another bizarre but interesting thing? If you were to use one in your kitchen, for example, it could be a great cause of stress, if you are one of the insomniac types who like to get up in the middle of the night for a glass of warm milk and cookies. No wait a second, that's Santa Claus...but that's another ponderable issue altogether- but you get up for a glass of warm milk anyway...and as you stumble around in the dark for a light switch, you trip over your lazy, furry welcome mat which you brought in from the porch to protect if from the dew, and trip over it and a fall flat on your face -which is not a pleasant experience as those who have done that know very well.
So what then, is the true moral of this sentence?
