"A penny for your thoughts," you say.
Seven looks up, "A penny?"
"It's an old Earth expression. It means, I'd
like to know what you are thinking, how you
feel..." you explain.

"It is curious," states Seven coldly. "At first
when I discovered your actions on the holodeck, I
experienced several emotions in succession. First
I felt shock, then anger, then confusion. I had
believed that your intentions with me were sincere,
and that we were honest and direct with each other.
I was mistaken. You were hiding these emotions
me. Explain."

"I was scared. I didn't think that anyone as
beautiful and sweet as you could ever feel anything
for me, a computer program. I never meant to hurt
or offend you." You feel ashamed and look down at
the floor. It is so quiet, you could hear a pin drop.

Seven breaks the silence. "After experiencing
negative emotions, I started feeling differently."
You brace yourself for her anger but instead you feel
a warm hand on your arm. You look up at Seven who is
getting closer and closer to you. She leans forward
and gives you a kiss on your cheek.
You are shocked beyond belief. You start muttering
something but Seven stops your words with a soft kiss
on your lips this time.

"Don't speak," she says. "I am willing to commence a
romantic relationship with you."
"You are?" you say incredulously.
"Yes," she whispers and continues to shower you with
many kisses and embraces.
