You decide that the Holodeck sounds like a good way
to relax. "Computer alert the EMH if anyone calls or
enters Sickbay. Transfer EMH to Holodeck One" you
command. In a flash you are in the grey surroundings
of the holodeck. "Computer begin program Doctor
Phantom One......Computer belay that order." You
decide to try a different program....the one that you
use to practice saying awkward things to Seven.

"Computer, begin program Doctor Banter07." you say.

You are in Cargo Bay Two. You see Seven of Nine
working at the other side of the room, she notices you
and walks toward you. You feel very anxious, but
remind yourself that this is just a simulation.

"Doctor." Seven says. "Seven, I would like to speak
with you. Are you busy?" you ask. "I am, but I can
resume my duties later." she says. "I just came by to
tell you something. I, ah, uh,...." you feel like
someone has cut off your supply of air - even though
you don't breathe.

"Doctor?" Seven says.
"Okay Seven I'm going to say this no matter what....
For the last two years, I have worked with you and
watched you grow and develop into the woman you are.
And....I have fallen in love with you. I can't get
you out of my head. I wan't to be with you all the
time, and I get extremely jealous when you're with
anyone else. I love you." You feel nervous... the
holographic Seven looks shocked.

You hear a sound behind you. You turn and see Seven
of Nine, the real one. She must have entered the room
unannounced. A padd lay on the floor by her feet.
She must have dropped it when she heard you proclaim
your love for her. She looks white. Before you can
say anything, she turns around and bolts out of the
holodeck.
