• It always upsets me whenever I hear wrestling fans, casual or otherwise, disrespect one promotion over another one.
• Each promotion has two main goals, aside from making a profit: to attract a following, and to keep the performers happy.
• There is nothing wrong with preferring one promotion over another, but to blatantly disrespect an operation through words or actions only reflects a lack of thought and understanding.
• I am a fan of the WWE. And MLW. And AEW. And NXT. And the NWA. And ROH. And WOW. And Impact Wrestling. And NJPW. And AAA. And CMLL. And Stardom. And the UWN. And Memphis Wrestling. And AML Wrestling. In short, since I was 13 years old, I have been a fan of professional wrestling. A proud fan.
• Each promoter has his or her own vision. The ability to carry out that vision is determined upon popularity of the product and fan support. As a high school teacher with a theatre arts background, I can appreciate the visuals and sound effects of the WWE. As one who admires the sport as an art form, I can appreciate NJPW. Or Impact Wrestling. Or AML Wrestling.
• As a pro wrestling / sports entertainment follower, I see diversity and dedication. And that, to me, is very good.
