Dear Malina (what a cool name!),
First of all, I hang my head in shame. You wrote me in early June,when I was chasing my current deadline (and running late). I do like to hear from readers, even if I'm terrible at prompt replies. I don't have a secretary, you see, which means it usually takes me a really long time to reply to the mail I get. And at least I didn't answer for a *good* reason, since I was writing more books for people to read. And I think it's wonderful that you're working on stories of your own. When I was first starting to write, I did a number of stories set in the worlds of my favorite writers. It's a good way to learn the tools you need to write well.
