JOE and MAC in The Expedition

Tromp, tromp, whack. Joe swung his bladed caveman club and whacked away at the thick vines. Mac was close behind. The musty, misty, muggy inner jungle was a foriegn place to these two, but they were a determined pair of neandertols. The dense underbrush and as-of-yet scientifically undiscovered creatures of the rainforest didn't deter them in the slightest. They were on a quest.

As the two clubed thier way through the jungle and stomped on the rarest species of fungii known (and unknown) to man, they came upon a vista. "Whack!" A huge vine fell to the side and the two peered out of the plantage.

"Ooo," they said.
"Oh just look. Isn't it the most beautiful sight you ever saw?"
"Yeah, Negroville. We've made it!"
"Well, let's go!"

They took a deep breath and ran forward. They reached the edge of the wet, overgrown cliff and took a hop off the side. "AHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." "THUD." "Crunch!" The plentiful indigenous wild greenage broke thier fall. They stood up and wiped thier wet rumps. "What a ride." "Yup. Let's do it again!"

So they trudged back up the muddy, vine-covered hill. They reached the vista and within a matter of seconds they were back in the soggy air. "Kaploomp!" They landed in a small pool of water. Thier head's bobbed above the surface.

"Flying leaps are fun."
"Agreed. Now let's continue on to our destination."
"Yes let's."

"Joe," said Mac.
"Mac," said Joe.
"We're cool."
"Yes, we are."
"Now let us be off."

And they pranced off at a fast gallop. Splat, splat. They squished through the mud. As they were squishing they found themsleves in the middle of a savage blizzard. "Brrrrrrr." Then the scorching sun came out. It melted the ice and hardened the mud.
"I can't move."
"Me either."
"My feet are stuck in the damn dirt."
Then a happy little raincloud floated by. The flowers started blooming and the birdies started singing again and all was right with the world.
"We're free!"
"Let's go."

Then the jungle became it's dense, musty, clausterphobic self again.

Jog, jog, jog...tromp, tromp, tromp. And soon our heroes arrived at thier final destination, thier safe-haven, thier utopia...Negroville.

They settled down and started a family of little cavenegroes. "Oh, I just love the sound of little cave negroes tromping on the hut floor." "Yes, it's such a lovely sound." And they lived happily ever after...all cozied up in thier Mud-Negro-Hut."
