BEING IN LOVE

Being in love is...seeing the sun through a cloud,
and a rainbow through a storm, and a full moon,
when the weatherman says there isn't any.

It's getting terribly interested in something
that never mattered to you before...
{because the one you love cares about it}
It's never being tired or bored, except
when the one you love is somewhere else.

It's taking walks in the park,
and making a picnic out of a sandwich
and a bottle of pop with two straws in it.
It's holding hands in the movies,
having little differences of opinion now and then
...because making up is so much fun.

It's talking for hours & hours
about anything and everything...
and feeling brighter and wittier
than you ever felt before...
It's a sudden look, an understanding smile
...that makes the whole world glow.

It's having favorite songs, private jokes,
...and special meeting places.
It's wanting to be better than you were,
because the one you love is so wonderful.
It's finding new meaning in the little things,
and discovering the magic of planning and sharing
...and building castles in the air.

Being in love is the best way to be,
...Especially when the people in love
are you and me!
