Note: 10.2 deals with the properties of logarithms. Since students often have trouble with logs, make sure you can do these questions. 10.5 deals with the types of exponential and logarithm equations you are likely to run into outside of mathematics. Questions 1-31 are really a list of applications of logs and exponentials. If you know you can do 1-31, just read the introductory parts that identify the application. Questions 7 and 9 use an equation that should really be discouraged: exponential questions should be solved with one base only (which, of course, is e). A profusion of bases only confuses things.
