Hi, I'm Nad, and this is my website about Ben Folds Five. I have been a fan for almost 3
years, and I love them!!!!!! This website celebratesd it's 2nd birthday in May, and it wouldn't
have happened without everyone who has visited so far, so thank you! I hope that you like it. It has
the usual stuff, as well as many unique pages like a growing list of 101 reasons to like Ben Folds
Five, BFF dreams that many have had, a monthly poll question, individual bios on all the
guys, my reviews of BFF releases, a Canada page, and a page with potential interview
questions.
Well, bad news everyone. I'm still in shock actually as I type this, as I have just found out and can hardly believe it myself. BEN FOLDS FIVE HAVE SPLIT UP!!!!!!! I guess in a way I'm not too surprised, since they kept saying that they were going to record another album and it never happened, and they also became engrossed in solo projects and especially for Ben, their personal lives. It's supposed to be an amicable split, and that they're doing it because they thought that the band's days were over and that they don't hate each other. I'm hugly disappointed of course; unless they go out for a reunion tour or change their minds or something I will never go to a Ben Folds Five concert. I will also never be able to interview them as a band or write a book about them. I haven't decided what I'm going to do about this website. That's another reason for my disappointment. I have enjoyed this. It has given me something to do. I just found out like 10 minutes ago so I haven't decided anything yet. It seems so unfortunate because it had been more or less idle for awhile, but I had just recentely added and updated things. For those of you who like it, don't worry because I will keep it up because I want to get all my Napster and Other Stuff lyrics up, which I have now started to do. After that, I'm not sure. I will always be a huge fan of the band, and I will never, ever get rid of my treasured BFF cds. Just as I am typing here I though of an idea for a comment board about the band's split. I think I'll do that. Yes. E-mail them to me at benfoldsfive@dwp.net, and if I get some, I'll put them up for everyone else to read. I mean, everyone here is now reading my spur-of-the-moment, super-emotional reaction, so I might as well get some others here as well. Good luck BFF!!!
Did anyone try to come here between October 25 and 27 and find a blank screen? Well, this site was either hacked, or suffered some sort of error. I'm investigating it now, and am very pissed off. Luckily, luckily, I had most of the index on back-up disk and the other pages were unaffected, but a couple of things may be temporarily missing from this screen. Don't worry, they meaning the ongoing mini-polls) will be back in due time.

Ben Folds will have a new track, "Lonely Christmas Eve", on the How the Grinch Stole
Chrsitmas soundtrack. He wrote and produced it himself, and played all the instruments. The
soundtrack comes out on November 7, and the movie, which stars Jim Carrey and plays the songs
toward the end of it, is in theatres November 17.
I now have up BFF FAQ!!!! This is not
the ordinary FAQ that is at a lot of BFF sites, but an original one that i wrote myself
You've probably already noticed the new chat feature that I have. I'm interested in hearing
any comments that people may have on it, like if it is working for you, if you've tried it, if there
is a system or browser that it cannot be accessed on, if you simply find it annoying, or what. I do listen!!!!!
I am very happy!!!!!! I case you haven't noticed, this site is now a member of the Ben Folds
Five Underground Webring!!! I am too proud, I know, but I encourage everyone to scroll down
to th bottom, and see the cool graphic that I got! :) - Okay eveybody, I got halfway!!! I'm having some problems with the graphic/link thing, but I now have the maual links up, so check them out!
The lyrics to Barrytown are coming soon! I had them mostly from transcription, but then
I couldn't figure out like two words, so I decided to wait until the Letterman performance. I'm
not much further ahead, but it helped a little, so all I have to do is type them up!
Some webmisstress I am! I bragged about the Creative Works being up and encouraged
everyone to check it out, and didn't leave an address, let alone a link! Well, here we are:

You Ask", a crazy idea I thought up while studying, and think
up some questions of your own.
As you may notice, I am in the process of changing the
colour scheme of this website. I am doing this for several
reasons: 1. To make it look different from the official site,
2. It was time for a change anyway, and 3. I realized that one
couldn't print off this site. I know that people want to print
out their own copies of lyrics, biographies, reviews, etc., so
as of now some pages are in a printing-compatable colour, and
others will get done soon. If you have a request
for a particular page's colour scheme to be changed over, tell
me about it! If you have any comments, I'd like to hear them
too!
While I'm working on my Spare Reels review, I have a
review for the meantime: This is a very, very good tape, and
every and all BFF fans should get it!!! I've been watching
it so many times, and when I was on vacation sans a VCR, I
actually missed it. (isn't that pathetic?)
Does anyone else think that Edwin McCain (I'll Be) looks
like an older Robert Sledge, and/or that Darren Jessee looks
much like the drummer for the Goo Goo Dolls?
