Biography

Lefty is the creation of Ex-Mooseman Courtney Ranshaw.  Starting first with one man demos for Mooseman of songs he had written, it turned into a new project.  The premise was to see if he could write and perform all instruments on the record.  Courtney went into Beast with two Backs studios, Burbank and recorded the first two songs for the Hell EP.  The record was Engineered and Recorded by Neil Young (Kittens for Christen) , and produced by Lefty.  The first two songs were Requiem and 824484.  The second was a Mooseman song written by Courtney and also appears in a shorter form on the Death of Mooseman CD.  Both songs were recorded over two days in January of 1999.  Both remain in there instrumental forms as of yet.   For more current information, check out the news site and find out what's new.
