Graduation!

The class of 2001!!

What a special time in life. Near new Adults, beginning to explore the
world beyond the boundaries of school, exciting, frightening and all grown up!

Set out to give those grads some glamor.  They've lived on hamburgers and pizza,
now serve them some sophisticated 'adult foods' that are out of the ordinary but lots of fun.
These versitile menus can be increased as needed,  served indoors or out, even around a pool!

Graduation #2

Simple and Fun

Sloppy Joes or Easy Chili or Lasagna

Salads: (2 or more)  Broccoli and Cauliflower Salad  or  Classic Potato Salad
Caesar Salad  or Fruit Kabobs

Desserts:  Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie or no bake Oreo Cheesecake
or Create-it-yourself Icecream Sundaes

trays of cookies or bars optional Nanaimo bars or Cheesecake bars
or Chocolate Cookies Supreme or Lemon Bars or Butterscotch Confetti Squares

Punch or Coke Floats

TIP: Cookies and small bars will look fabulous if you line your serving plate or tray with a pretty paper doily.
Space the cookies etc. apart so that they are not piled up and the presentation will be elegant.  You can also place sliced cake squares or cheesecake squares in paper muffin cups, slightly squeezing them to make 'boats'.  This makes handling a potentially sticky item much easier for your quests.

TIP:  Serve dips for vegetable in large  hollowed out green, yellow or red bell peppers, or a small red cabbage which has been hollowed out.

TIP:  Kabobs, really appeal to this age group.

TIP:  If planning to serve cookies and squares, those can be made, wrapped well and frozen at least one month ahead of time.
