Setting: The Park

R: Carly. (looks at her)

C: Robin…

J: Carly what are you doing here?

C: Well I was on my way to Kelly’s and I decided to walk through the park. The real question is why is Little Miss Robin Scorpio here? Shouldn’t you be back in France or Paris or wherever she belongs?

R: Umm….Carly Paris is in France. ( Jason tries not to laugh)

C: Yeah whatever. So what are you doing here?

R: I really don’t think I owe you any sort of explanation of why I am here, because me being back in town doesn’t concern you at all.

C: Oh I get it you came here to persuade Jason to take you back and then you can sink you claws back into him and then betray him once again! Well you know what Robin you can just forget all about that because you will never, never get Jason after what you did to him. (looks at Jason)

J: Carly back off! Whatever happened is in the past and that doesn’t concern you.

R: (looks at Carly’s hands and notices there is a ring on her ring finger. Robin thinks to herself: "Oh no please, please don’t tell me this is happening." Looks at Jasons ring finger and realizes there is no ring.) So Carly you’re married? (points to her ring finger)

C: (looks down at her finger) Yeah…(says it softly)

R: Oh no, who’s the unlucky person who you are married to?

C: You know what this is none of your business so why don’t you stay out of it!

R: What the matter Carly?!

C: You really want to know? (moves closer to Robin) You really want to know I am married to AJ.

R: Did you just say what I think you said? You’re married to AJ. That’s just like the typical Carly behavior I remember. You say you’re in love with Jason and then you go and marry his brother.

C: (really angry) You don’t anything about me and Jason so why don’t you just leave before I have to make you! (tries to get at Robin but Jason pulls her back)

R: You know what I think that’s really a good idea, a first from you Carly. I really think I have added enough excitement for one day. I will talk to you later Jason. (walks away)

C: (calls out to her) No you wont!!

J: What the hell do you think you’re doing Carly? Robin has been in town for less than a week and you already fighting with her.

C: You know I can’t stand her and her little prefect attitude as if the whole world has to revolve around her. She acts as if she can just come back into town and leave off with you as if she didn’t do anything, and you just don’t seem to care.

J: I don’t care? You think I don’t care that she told AJ about Michael. Of course I do, but you got to understand that I know Robin did that because it was what she though was right, I know that know and its behind us.

C: So what am I to you then? Just nothing. I have fought to be with you for such a long time, and now we are finally getting somewhere and then all of a sudden Robin comes back and you decide you want her instead. Like I was just someone to keep you occupied before Robin came. I thought I was more to you than that, (wipes a tear that was coming down her cheek) Jase, I love you so much.

J: How can you even say things like that Carly, that I don’t care for you and you were something that kept me occupied? You’re much more than that to me. But Carly no matter how much its going to hurt you hearing me say this, we cant have a future together at least not in the near future. You’re married, you have a child who I gave up rights to see. (Carly looks down at the ground, and Jason looks in her eyes) But we’re friends, I told you that.

C: Jason, I want to be with you, only you I don’t want any complications between us I just wanna be with you. (Jason hugs her)

J: You better be get going to Kelly’s. Ok?

C: Yeah… (walks away and then turns around) Jason, I love you.

Part 14

R: So you guys are telling me you weren’t the least bit cold while you were eating that ice cream?

M: Of course not, its not even cold outside.

R: Yeah but its not hot either. (laughs)

G: I love going to the park with you Robin. Can you come with us to the park everyday?

R: Um….

Mac: Hey guys!

G: Mac! (runs to Mac and in his arms, he hugs Georgie)

Mac: How was the park?

M: It was great.

G: Yeah we got to eat ice cream.

Mac: Ice Cream? (looks at Robin)

R: Ok, ok you caught me, I got the girls some ice cream. (laughing, Mac smiles)

Mac: Why don’t you girls go upstairs and finish your homework so you won’t have to do it later.

M: Ok, come on Georgie. See you later Robin. (they run upstairs)

Mac: You must have had a handful with those two.

R: No it was nothing, I love going out with them.---I need to talk to you about something… and I don’t think you’re going to like what I am going to say either.

Mac: (sits down on the couch) What is it honey? Something wrong?

R: I really wanted to tell you this yesterday but it just never seemed like the right time, because I didn’t want to ruin your mood and then we went out for dinner, and I couldn’t spoil dinner and then—

M: --(smiles) Robin stop beating around the bush and just tell me.

R: (sighs) Ok… (sits down beside him on the couch) Well…yesterday I went to Kelly’s, I had some breakfast.

Mac: Yeah…

R: Then I went to the docks just for a little walk, you know… and I saw Cesar Faison. (Mac stares at her) I knew it was him because his voice, his face just told me it was him. I could tell because he knew my name.

Mac: What happened?

R: Well he kept coming closer to me, telling me he just wanted to talk and that I shouldn’t be afraid and just things like that….and well I was scared. I haven’t seen him in years and the thought of a man that killed my parents and who was supposed to be dead was just so scary and frightening that I didn’t know what do. It was like I was frozen and I couldn’t move. He put his hand on my shoulder and then next thing I knew Jason came and pushed Faison away from me.

Mac: Jason? Why was Jason there?

R: He was probably just taking a walk on the docks.

M: Did he hurt you? What else happened? Tell me everything!

R: I wasn’t hurt, and I did tell you everything.

M: Robin, why didn’t you tell me any of this before! I know you thought it wasn’t the right time, but you need to be safe. That was the whole purpose of you coming back. What would have happened if Faison approached you and the girls this morning at the park? What would you have done?

R: (looks down) It wasn’t that big of a deal…

Mac: It is to me. (looks Robin in the eyes) I don’t want to argue with you Robin, but you have to know that I cant - - I cant let Faison take another member of my family away. I won’t let him do that. We have already suffered a lot from him.

R: Oh Uncle Mac (hugs him) I am fine ok. I am sorry I didn’t tell you this earlier, I hate seeing you worry about me.

M: Don’t worry about me, just worry about yourself. When he left did he say anything else to you?

R: (try to think back) When he left all he said was ‘See you soon Miss Scorpio’ or something along those lines.

M: Ok. Well then obviously he’s going to try and make contact with you again. (gets up and goes to the phone. Dials PCPD) Hello, Mac Scorpio here, I want to let you know that Cesar Faison is back in Port Charles, I want him to be followed and not out of sight. Ok?-----What do you mean you cant do that? I don’t care what you need to do to track him down just do it!! (hangs up the phone and goes back to Robin) I don’t want you to leave the house for now until I track Faison down.

R: That’s not going to solve anything, don’t you see Faison’s getting the best of you, he’s trying to get you to overreact and that’s what’s happening. I know you’re worried and I promise I will be more careful. What else do you want me to say, I will contact you whenever I can and I wont walk alone in the dark. (laughs to lighten the mood) Come on, I will be fine. And if- - Faison approaches me again I promise you will be the first person that hears about it.

M: (looks at her) ….ok fine….but don’t stay out too late wherever you go. (Robin gets up to leave) One more thing, Robin to make things easier on me please, please don’t get involved with Jason or Sonny again.

R: (looks back at him) I can promise you I will stay safe but I just cant promise you that. (she leaves)

Part 15

Robin entered the Quartermaine Mansion, she waited in the main living room as Reginald told her to. She waited for the rest of the family to arrive. Robin knew she had to come see the Quartermaine’s and was very excited to see her old friends, she was just hoping she wouldn’t have to see Carly here. She walked around the room and stopped in front of a picture frame which had a picture of Jason. She carefully picked up the frame and stared at the picture of Jason. She soon heard the voice of Alan and quickly put the frame down and turned around to greet him.

A: Robin!

R: (walked towards him) Alan, hi! (hugs him)

A: Wow, seeing you here sure is a surprise.

R: (smiles at him) Yeah, I know I am sorry I came here without any advanced notice.

A: Don’t apologize, I am glad you’re here. And I am sorry the rest of the family isn’t here, Monica is at the hospital, Edward and Lila are out, and god knows where AJ and Carly went. (slience, Alan looks at her awkwardly, not wanting to pry and ask the reason she was back in PC)

R: (Robin realizes what Alan is thinking and breaks the silence) Well I know you must be wondering what I am doing back in town. (pauses) Well things have been really complicated, and you know Uncle Mac wanted me here, so I am staying here until everything gets sorted out.

A: That’s good, I really hope everything’s ok. If you need anything, anything at all just let me know. Ok?

R: I will.

A: Can I get you something to eat? To drink?

R: No, no I am fine. Thanks for asking.

A: Yeah, so how have you been in Paris? Is everything ok?

R: If you mean with my health, yeah I have been good. I haven’t been sick or anything.

A: That’s good to hear. (she smiles) Things have been, well eh…complicated here, (laughs) isn’t it always.

R: Yeah, I heard about AJ’s marriage to Carly.

A: Oh please lets not discuss Carly at the moment. Heaven knows she’s caused this family enough trouble.

R: (laughs) That’s Carly for ya. (Alan’s pager beeps, and Alan looks to see what it is)

A: Honey, I am so sorry but the hospital needs me.

R: Hey that’s ok, I am just glad I got to drop by to see you again.

A: Same goes for me. But you have to come by again.

R: I will don’t worry. (Alan puts his arm around her and leads her out of the room, just as AJ walks in holding Michael’s hand)

AJ: Robin?!

R: AJ.

A: (looks at the two of them.) Well I better be going. See you later honey.

R: Bye. (Alan leaves and Robin and AJ walk with Michael to the couch in the living room, both of them silent.) Hey buddy how are you (Robin picks up Michael) Wow you’re getting big aren’t you? Do you remember me Michael? Do ya? (kisses him on the cheek) That’s okay if you don’t pal. I still love ya. (smiles and hands him over to AJ) Um…he sure is getting big isn’t he?

AJ: Yeah, he sure is, he is growing so fast. Aren’t you pal? (Laticia comes into the room)

L: Its time for Michael’s bath. (AJ hands Michael over to her)

R: Bye Michael. (Laticia leaves with Michael, Robin and AJ sit down on the couch)

AJ: Robin before you say a thing. I just want to let you know how thankful I am to you. You, you were the only person who was honest with me, and god knows if you didn’t tell me what you did I would, never get a chance to be in my son’s life.

R: (smiles) AJ, I know that you would want to be in Michael’s life, and I don’t think it would be right to keep him away from you, so I did what I had to do.

AJ: But what you did for me, cost you a lot.

R: (looks down, not knowing how she should respond) AJ, I, I wanted to do the right thing. And telling you that Michael was your son was right, and I don’t regret that.

AJ: (smiles) Thanks. For everything. (looks at his watch) Oh man, its later than I thought. Can I get Reginald to drive you home or something?

R: No its ok I will walk, its nice outside today. (they walk to the door of the house)

Bye AJ. (opens the door)

AJ: Robin.

R: (turns around) Yeah.

AJ: Thanks.

Robin smiles at him and leaves.

Part 16

Robin walked to Kelly's hoping that her morning would be better. First her fight with Uncle Mac. She knew that he was really stressed with the Faison things and he didn't need to hear things about Jason coming from her, his niece who he would do anything for. Then meeting with AJ after all this time. She was happy that he finally got a chance to be with his son. She knew it was the right thing to do and she didn't regret it but she wished she could just go back to Jason. Go back to the way things were between them, when they were happy and nothing was standing in their way. As much as she hated to admit it to herself she knew it, she knew nothing was the same between them. Actually everything was more different then she could imagine. He knew nothing about her life now. They were just like two people who dated before and are now being just friends. 'That can't be true' Robin thought. 'What Jason and I had was special, it was love it was passion and trust.' Robin sighed, feeling sadder every minute she thought about Jason. About the life they could have had. She arrived at Kelly's and her thoughts were cut into when she Hannah approached her.

H: Hi! (smiles widely) Good to see you here.

R: Yeah. (Tries to smile back then looks at the floor, not in the mood of really talking to anyone)

H: (notices that Robin is not very happy) I am sorry if you wanna be alone or something…(voice trails off) Well then it was nice seeing you…I guess…(walks towards the doors of Kelly's)

R: (looks up, feeling bad that she was being rude) Hannah wait! (Hannah turns around) I am sorry, listen I didn't mean to be so rude. Can we start again? (smiles)

H: Sure! (smiles back at her)

R: (walks about to her) Hi Hannah nice to see you.

H: (grins) Hi its good to see you too.

R: (motions towards the table outside of Kelly's) Do you want to sit down?

H: Sure why not. (they both sit down in chairs) Sorry to intrude, but are you ok? You look kinda down?

R: Well you know life isn't perfect, gosh not even close to perfect.

H: (looks at her sincerely, not wanting to pry but wanting to help out her new friend) Do you want to talk about it?

R: (looks up at Hannah) You know, I left Port Charles, thinking I would never come back. I…I would never have to face all the problems that I left behind. And well look where I am now back here trying to work through things…

H: I'll take it things aren't really working out.

R: Well they are I mean they are better than I expected but well its all different then how things used to be. And god, I know I shouldn't expect things to be the same but I really want them to be.

H: (looks at her sympathetically) The problems you left behind, they probably worked out themselves, so that's a good thing.

R: Have you ever loved someone so much and you did something for the right reason but ended up hurting the person you love more than anything?

H: (looks at Robin, surprised to hear that her problems sounded close to hers) You can sure say that. I have been there and done that and well you can say things went downhill from there.

R: (realizes the sadness in Hannah's eyes) Hey I am sorry for unloading all my problems on you, you don't even know me and here I am whining about everything to you. I am sorry…(looks embarrassed)

H: Don't apologize, I love helping people out with these things. It helps take my mind off other things….

R: Other things? Hey since you're probably tired off hearing me talk (Hannah laughs) do you want to tell me anything? Because you don't seem too cheery yourself.

H: (hesitates) Umm… I don't wanna bug you…

R: I bugged you enough so then we can call it even.

H: (laughs) Well I guess my problem sounds close to the problem you were facing before you left Port Charles. I loved this guy and…(gets cut off by Carly, who spotted Robin and Hannah)

C: Well look who it is, if it isn't Hannah the Banana and Little Miss Perfect.

(Robin sighs and her and Hannah exchange looks)
