A 13 mile loop near the Goat Rocks, late August 2002.  My knee was hurt pretty bad for this hike, which is too bad; I would have like to do a little more off the trail.

Morning frost.
Mt. Rainier.
I would like to know what species of Lewisia this is, growing in a rock crevasse.  It is no wonder they need good drainage in cultivation.
Paintbrush (Callisteja sp.)
Very interesting, almost castle-like rock formations.
Goat Lake.
Mt. Adams.
A creek flowing out of Goat Lake.
Another creek.
