Waves infiltrating the garden.  This was a bit difficult to photograph; I was not successful in catching any large breakers since there is some delay between when I press the camera button and when the picture actually takes.  Also, I was only able to take pictures in one direction without wind blowing rain onto the camera lens.  Just after I went back up the stairs, the wind increased, the waves swelled as high as 3' and covered this area with up to 1' of water.  I lost my wood chip mulch and many plants had the soil eroded off their roots.  This was not even that much water and yet its power was very impressive.
