My Views on Die Another Day
OK. Let's see. This seems like a good Bond Movie, and it is, but it doesn't meet my Bond standards. First off, I never want Lee Tamahori directing another Bond movie ever again. He is by far the worst director. The slow down sequences when someone gets punched is unnecessary and the computer animation is horrible and really fake. Not to mention you can totally notice Brosnan's Irish accent when he talks. He sounds somewhat English in all the others, but Die Another Day he turns to Irish. Furthermore, I don't like how he isn't sent by M to Cuba and he has to use a revolver instead of his brand new Walther P99 (which replaced the PPK in Tomorrow Never Dies). Die Another Day does have some good points to it, in that it has a solid car chase scene on ice, and the sword fight between Bond and Gustav Graves. Don't get me wrong, I love every Bond movie, its just that Die Another Day has some little flaws to it. It is still a good movie.
