Peter Schaefer 72

The first time I saw him play was during the World Junior Chmapionships (or maybe it was the CHL prospects game...or a Wheat Kings game...or the AHL All-Star Game) and he was playing great, the announcers were talking about how GOOD he was. Then they said that he was drafted by the Canucks. I had no idea...That's becasue in his draft year, 1995, the Canucks traded Mike Peca to Buffalo for Alex Mogilny, so that dominated the headlines that day. Plus, the Canucks gave their first pick to the Sabres (Jay McKee!) so the draft was put on the back burner. The Canucks picked Chris McAllister in the second round, and Peter in the third, so I didn't know about him at all. And now he's a top prospect.
The picture I like to call the "Steve Yzerman shot": (don't you think he looks like Yzerman here?)

From Vanessa's Canucks Site.
Well it works better with the small version. Is he not an Yzerman clone here?
