The Backstreet Boys are expected to release a new track called "It's True" on a series CD's that will be
available exclusively at Burger King during an exclusive five-week promotion with
the Jive recording artists. All three CD's will include "It's True" and the song will also appear on the Backstreet Boys'
upcoming album. The exclusive CD's available at
Burger King on Monday (August 28), will feature nine
unreleased live versions of their greatest hits, a mix
of studio and a cappella songs, and an interactive CD-ROM component. The Boys will also release an exclusive 45-minute
video, titled "For The Fans" that includes new
backstage footage and interviews, as well as live
performances of hits including "Larger Than Life," "I
Want It That Way" and more. It's about time we get a new video:) I haven't seen
much of my sexy boys lately!!! The CD's and video will be sold for the recommended price of $2.99 with
each purchase of value meal. Burger King will also be the exclusive title sponser of the
Backstreet Boys' upcoming tour for their next album which is scheduled for a
November 21, 2000 release (which according to Howie, is half-finished).
More awards to be hung on the boys walls!!!! BSB are nominated for People's Choice: Favorite
International Group for "Larger Than Life" at the 2000 MuchMusic Video Music Awards. The Boys go against Limp Bizkit, Santana feat.
Rob Thomas, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and N Sync.
The MuchMusic Video Music Awards 2000 will be
broadcasted live on MuchMusic on September 21,2000 at 8pm ET.
If you haven't heard already, Brian and Leighanne have been reunited with their two Chihuahuas,
Lil' Tyk Thomas and Litty Leigh, that were 'Dog-napped' from the backyard of their Atlanta home.
Both dogs were said to be nervous and hungry, but otherwise fine.

The Backstreet Boys are soakin' up the sun!!! Nick, Brian, AJ, Kevin
and Howie are spending some time in the fourth
or third album depending on what country you live in:) A release date
has not officially been set for the album, but it could
be in stores as early as October 2000.

Backstreet Boys won Favorite Group - Pop and
Favorite CD for their sophmore album "Millennium."
WAY TO GO BOYS!! Other winners included
Christina Aguilera, Ricky Martin, Santana and
Mariah Carey.
If you were at the 126th Running of the Kentucky Derby
on Saturday, May 7 at the Barnstable-Brown Gala
you may have seen 3 out of 5 memebers of the Backstreet Boys!
Kevin, Brian (both from Kentucky) and Howie attended the Gala. Other
musicians who attended the party were Emmylou
Harris, Chris Isaak, John Michael Montgomery and
George Strait.
BSB DUET! Lionel Richie, who sings such songs as "All
Night Long" and "Easy," recently did a duet with the
Backstreet Boys on his upcoming album,
Renaissance. The Boys join Richie with the song
called "Cinderella," an up-tempo track that they
recorded after meeting Richie during a tour stop in
Germany. "It was so great. They showed up in the dressing
room and the next sound I hear is them singing
'Easy,'" Richie tells Wall of Sound. "I knew they were
fans, but they turned out to be real sweethearts. The
song ["Cinderella"] is perfect for them, we're a perfect
combo. But above everything else, my 5-year-old son
finally thinks Dad is doing OK." Renaissance is scheduled for a June 2000 release.

Backstreet Boys newest video for their awesome
song "The One" will premiere on MuchMusic on
Thursday May, 4th at 4:45pm and will repeat at 8:45 pm ET.

According to Launch.Com, Howie and his sister,
Pollyanna, who is working on an album right now,
will release a single titled "Fly To Heaven" to benefit
the Lupus Foundation. "Me and my sister, we
recorded a song that she wrote about my sister
Caroline, who passed away a year-and-a-half ago
from Lupus." Howie and Pollyanna would hopefully
like to see the song as a single, getting all the
proceeds to be donated to the Lupus Foundation to
raise money for awareness and the disease. Caroline
Dorough-Cochran, Howie's sister, died in 1998.
BSB newest single "The One" will premiere on
MTV's Total Request Live on Monday, May 1st.
On the morning of Thursday, April 13, 2000, at 8:25am,
a part of the Carter family passed away:( According to The Carter Connection, the Carter
family's offical site, Great Grandma Theresa Phillips
Spauling passed away quietly at breakfast. You can express any wishes you have in sympathy or
condolence to Grampa Doug at douglas@cecomet.net.
Contrary to rumours, AJ is NOT engaged. He was mis-quoted in the press. The real story is this: Although he
fells very close to Amanda, and hopes that she will turn out to be the one that he shares his life with, He feels
that they are both too young to make a decision like getting married right now. And they have no plans to do
so in the immediate future. AJ says that he wants to settle down and have kids at some point, but not now.

Nick is not living in LA, he continues to live outside of Tampa, Fla.
AJ invited the whole band over to his new house in Orlando, among other things it has its own Movie Theatre!
Nick and AJ both plan to build studios in their houses.
Howie attended and performed and the first two Johnny no-name shows and had a great time, except when
Johnny doused him with water onstage, and he had nothing to change into. Poor Howie.
Tommy will be playing at Brian's wedding. It will be an original song that Brian and he wrote. Brian will sing it, AWWWW!

Howie's going for the double career!!! Along with his role in a movie, Dorough, currently on break from the Boys "Millennium" tour, will
guest star on the season finale of The WB's sci-fi drama "Roswell."
Howie will play an alien who comes to town after receiving a telepathic message. His
character may or not be on the side of the three teen aliens who live in Roswell. Sources says Dorough may return in a
recurring role next year if the show is picked up for another season.
