Hey. I'm listening to Methusela. There are a lot of neat-o songs on napster if you type in 'Smashing Pumpkins' and 'rare'... I like Saturnine, too, even though it's only 39 seconds. Anyways, I just saw the pumpkins almost a week ago (minus 5 hours) hehe... They were so good. I kept shuddering cause I kept on reeling the thought over and over in my mind that Billy Corgan was just RIGHT THERE. *sigh* I took lots of pictures, but the one I wanted most to turn out didn't, cause people in the crowd held up their hands and my crap ass camera focused on them. But here's my story: K, so I'm in the mosh pit for the pumpkins but it's really calm and the pumpkins' music seems to have this magic in it that turns the pushy assholes into respecting crowd members. It was really nice. And I met this girl who liked D'Arcy and was disappointed that she wasn't going to be there. She looked a lot like her, too, and she was so nice. Fan since college type of thing. Anyways, so she lets me go ahead when there's space and I get really close. Soon Billy is walking towards my section of the crowd and I hold up my camera. Then... since my camera has the anti-red eye thing goin on for it, a red light flickered on as I held down the clicking button. At that, the sexiest man alive, Billy Corgan, pointed right at my fucking camera. But when he pointed I was so shocked that it took a second or two for me to go 'hey moron click the fucking cameraaaaa!' so i clicked but some hands made it up in those few seconds and ruined my picture. But I'll always remember it. It is a shame that I can't share a still of it with anyone. I think that was the most exciting point in my life. Isn't that kinda sad? Meh. Anyways, some pictures turned out okay and I'm going to get them up. I'm also thinking of continuing my project of making a collage of Billy's eyes. I just need a few more, but I'm away from home right now so I can't work on it. But I will. Hopefully I'll have it done by the end of September. If anyone wants any of my concert pictures (they seem really far away, despite how close i was to the stage) or has any concert pictures they'd like to share, feel welcome to email me. (please email me - hehehe...) Or if anyone has any Smashing Pumpkins concert experiences they'd like to share, email me, etc, etc, etc... Now I'm off to download Infinite Sadness and good luck to you all in coping and grieving over the apparent loss of a great band. Of course, I'll be meeting Billy in a few years, what with the connections we'll undoubtedly share... And when I do, it won't matter that I never update this site.
