Aaliyah's Joint

                                 Greetings Aaliyah Fans,

You have now just entered in Aaliyah's Joint. A site that operates in the Bahamas. We, Aaliyah's Joint have been online for seven years. Even though we have lost our queen,  until the end of time we will bring you Aaliyah.

Our aim and duty is to inform generations to come about how we once had a queen. We don't want her life to fade away into the nonbeing. We want to keep Aaliyah's legacy alive. Therefore, we both have to work together, by buying Aaliyah albums, posters and so on. We have to work together to achieve our goals. Show tribute by writing poems for 'Dana', and leaving some type of compassion message. Please join in with us as we Remember our queen, for many years to come. We are grateful that you visit us and please come again.

If you wish to contact Aaliyah's Joint  send an e-mail to aaliyahaughton@hotmail.com or nicriclat@hotmail.com

To Aaliyah, -

May God's peace be with you till we meet you again. Till we reach that distant shore, and we shed a tear no more, may he give me strength to adore, till I meet you again.

I would like to thank God for sharing his angel with us.

OUR INTRO

I would just like to say that Aaliyah was my inspiration. She was the person whom I was so destined to become. I know that she was one of a kind but I love her like the blood in my veins. She means so much to all of us and her mark in this, sometimes cruel, world will live on through her fans and myself.

I still can't get used to the fact that she's actually gone. The other day I was watching the some videos of hers, interview clippings, and tributes to her that I recorded and I said to myself that this couldn't be happening. I still have the newspapers that announced her untimely death. I still cry when I see her videos as if it just happened yesterday.

I often want to ask why did God allow this to happen. I'm sure that we all do. If I could have been there instead of her, I would have. That's how much she meant to me, although I never had a chance to meet her.

She was almost perfect. She was beautiful... I'll miss her and hopefully I will learn to cope with the tragedy of losing her. Much Love to All

Aaliyah Remembered

On August 25th, Aaliyah fans in the Bahamas took the streets posting flyers and roses on every pole, celebrating the anniversary of her death.

Additionally, there was a vigil, held at Time Square. It started at 6:45pm to 7:15. If you have any pictures of your candle services, please e-mail them to us at

aaliyahaughton@hotmail.com or nicriclat@hotmail.com.

Additionally, Aaliyah's family is planning a candle vigil on January 16th 2003, which will be Aaliyah's 24th birthday.
