Will tonight be the night,
this soul lays to rest,
bids farewell to all known,
leaving earth far behind,
perhaps finding new hell.

Darkness surrounds,
draws close,
my sole friend,
beckons me home,
whispers gently my name...

I peer over the edge,
weigh up the truth,
the lies, love, the pain,
all seems for nothing,
one step to ends fame...

Cold metal reflects,
death it's sole creed,
beauty meets anger,
simplicity it's breed,
escape in the palm of my hand...

Faster I go,
skills pushed beyond reach,
on razors edge I glide,
control at its peak,
the goal blurs towards me...

But tonight's not the night,
courage flees in fright,
does existance have meaning?
take a chance,
fates delight.

play the game my dear friend,
play the game and you'll see,
all that life promises,
laid for choice at your feet,
choose careful your path,
those pleasures it brings,
for night commeth also,
and in darkness it wins.
On darker side the street I dwell,
Holding secrets not to tell,
Covered eyes from truth do hide,
Ancient wisdom misleads as guide.

Rolling hills of thought contain,
Aching memory drowned in pain,
Vivid force of hearts raw side,
Burries deep the sacred light.

Dive deep and hold for all times sake,
Losing now will be ends fate,
With death comes freedom from bounds so tight,
Live life now, embrace the fight.

I fight my silent war,
this personal war within,
all around lays silence,
dark fury burns within.

With ashened eyes I view the world,
throw scorn on all it tells,
through lifeless veins flows blood so cold,
reality turned to hell.

I scream so loud my silence,
words trapped in void of space,
time wraps itself around my soul,
buries deep all whispers of faith.

Though night may rule the homeland,
some day I long to wake,
to view a world built not so cold,
to relax this rigid gaze.

Oh how I long to taste my freedom,
to flee these screams from the dark,
if only one could see this pain,
a lifeline to stray in my path.

on dark side of the moon this heart does reside,
fleeing both light and comfort it hides,
through darkness it's skew on the world is unjust,
but fearing rejection it grows cold with the dusk.

though it longs to escape & embrace all so near,
to show the world it's passion, it's beauty, it's fears,
if only the shroud of it's misery would fade,
to blaze a new path 'cross the heavens it frames.
