To seek and to find
rarely come together as one
one is to hunt, the other to gather
the winner is one who finds eternal fire
the other is left with a burning desire
to seek out the truth in everything done
to find out where their heart can be won.
The
winner has left with their heart and their soul
they’ve
been satisfied, they are whole
the
other not knowing but wanting to understand
why
we’re alone and only one set of footprints on the sand
when
God is supposed to always be by our side
caring
and protecting us so we don’t’ have to hide.
The
winner knows it is God’s footprints on the sand
for
he is carrying us, the winner understands.
He
held us in his arms when we were too weary to walk
he
led us into silence...there was no need to talk
he
is omnipotent, he knows all
we
are still learning, we are still small.
God
is eternal, He is forever
Helping
us seek and helping us find
He
helps us learn that we may seem alone,
but
He knows we never are.
