09/15/03 What's up motherfuckers? Say what you want, but I know that I have been lacking in my internet skills. For those of you who have been checking up on this site from time to time, you should be comended for keeping faith in us. We are still jamming, just about everybody that his been going to our shows knows that. Since my last update we have changed our sound and have a new guitar player Rupert Martinez, a native of Robstown himself, he has been playing with the band for almost about a year. If you get a chance you should see this boy wail on the guitar. I am going to be starting a yahoo mail group so that we can get our mailing list started up again. With that in mind I bid u a du', till our next intermission I'll see you later Jaime 07/31/03 Hola.........were still here.........going through some down time right now. Several drastic changes have happened since the last time that I updated. The biggest change so far is....... ALEX NO LONGER HAS A MOUSTACHE (i think that i spelled that right). Yes believe or not AJ is clean cut now for all you sexy ladies out there. Also I have a BEARD. AInt that cool. all of Thermal with facial hair?? Except Jeremy, but give him time. On a more personal note, Chris our guitar player is no longer in the group, he recently started college, and it was just a matter of personal issues, but over all "THE HOOCHIE" will be missed. any ways, dont got a list of the shows that are coming up cause Rudy..... yes Rudy hasnt gotten me the list yet How convienent. So as of right now the only show that I know about is on the 20th of this month. Not sure where, but all I know is that its this month. We are also currently having auditions for a new guitar player if anybody is interested or know someone who might be interested. Page rudy 361-812-5540 DUeCE 07/31/03 Hey whats going on everybody? Sorry havent updated shit for the past couple of months. We have been playin and trying to figure our next move for the band. Also we took like a 3-4 week vacation from each other and the band to take care of shit in our lives that we have neglected. For example Rudy finally moved out on his own in Corpus, Alex and I celebrated our 21st Bdays, so no more Rudy having to buy our beer. Anyways we have a show this Friday at the Blue Ghost downtown in front of the Lexington with Prime Leaf. Show starts at 9 p.m. its s 5 dollar cover and its 18 and up. But I will try really hard to keep you all updated. Also if anyone think that they can come up with a Thermal Breakdown LOGO let us know and come up with a drawing. If we choose yours I am sure we can hook you up with shirts once we make them. Peace out you all. Jaime 05/04/03 Hey just wanted to thank everyone that has attended our past shows. At this current time we don't have any shows booked, but I am sure that in a couple of days we will have something posted. Just a reminder if you want to sign up for our mailing list just email us or just sign our guest book and we will add you to the list. Well gotta go everybody, hang loose. Jaime 04/15/03 Hey, hows it going? Anyway, just wanted to get some information out to you all. We have 2 possible shows this week. Do keep in mind these are possible shows... they aren't comfirmed. First one will be at D-Venue's downtown Corpus Christi. That show will fall on a Thursday April 17. Don't know the time yet but if it is confirmed then I will let you all know. Second possible show will be on Saturday April 19th in Alice, TX at a restraunt called Ribs and More. If that show takes place it will more than likely be an acoustic set, to make up for the one that didn't happen this past Saturday. Also on a lighter note today we recorded 2 songs for TX-Underground.NET. We recorded "I Cry" and "Seconds" live. This Thermal Segment will air on Wednesday April 23 on local access channel.(Don't ask me what channel). In a sudden turn of event, this friday we are playing at the Robstown H.S. Talent Show. So I think that we are going to play like a 30 to 45 minute set. The show starts at 2 p.m. If anyone can make it out there it would be greatly appreciated. Also in 2 weeks I believe we got confronted to play at the Martini Bar in Corpus. The thing is that they are not down with heavy music, so ladies and gentleman I give to you....... Thermal Breakdown.. ACOUSTIC. Yea I know its hard to believe but we will be playing in acoustic set. So I will get more information on that show in the next 2 days. But if you want to show up and make fun of us cause we can't play acoustic then go ahead be a dick. Anyways I gotta go and grub at K-BOBS. Later Cool Cats. Well gotta go, talk to you all later. JAIME 11/03/02 Who lives in a pineapple under the sea.... Sponge BOB Square Pants. Who drives all the way from Robstown to play in Corpus Christi......Thermal Breakdown. Ok enough of that, well this is Jaime again i know that i have said that so many times. Well we had a show on Saturday, it was like all short notice. I was in Corpus and then i get a call from Chris asking if he can get a ride with me and i was like what....? Then he says you didn't know we have a show tonight and all of a sudden it felt like a bad dream like I was the last one to know about this. But we played at House Party in Bishop and I would say that we definitely rocked the house, there at least 150 people. But we got invited back again this weekend to play. As for the Clawsons BOTB we did not win. We were the first band and we lost to Terranova. We kinda expected it, so we were too shocked. We did however come out on channel 10 news about the battle of the bands, and they did like a 10 second camera coverage on me, so officially I am a S*T*A*R*. Also even though we did not win our friend Ty ended up winning that Fender Guitar that they were giving away. So it was a productive afternoon. Well I will hollar at you all later then. Take Care. 10/29/02 Howdy Doody boys an girls. This is Jaime giving the update for today. Feeling kinda under the weather right now so please bare with me. We do not have any shows this week not even for halloween. That sucks. But our next show is on November 3rd at the Clawsons Battle of the Bands. We play at 12:30 p.m. in the afternoon which is crazy cause i don't get up on Sundays till 1 or 2. O Well. But as of right now that is the only show we have lined up for this week. Gotta go and take care of myself before I get any worst. Talk to YOU ALL Later. 10/19/02 Hey you crazy cats out there. Just bringing you an update on the band. Well this past friday we particapted at the semi-finals for the Equal Eyez battle of the bands. We did not make the finals, but its ok. We were up against some pretty fierce competition. The winners for this past friday were Cabal and Loaded. Both bands did really well and so did everybody else that played. So congrats to the bands that made the finals. As for Thermal it was a minor set back, but we were in the competition for the fun of it. As of right now we still have not confirmed the Halloween show or the Default show. But on November 2nd we will be playing at the finals for the Clawson's battle of the bands. I am not sure on what time we are playing or where at. So if we get the 2 other shows we will have 3 shows back to back. You ask can we pull it off and I say to thee..... A WEWO! Also I am taking a survey right now, because God willing within the next month or 2 we are planning on going back into the studio to record 2 more songs. As of right now we have recorded Wish Me Away, For You, and I Never Was. The next 2 songs that we are planning to record is Impossible and I Cry. What I want for you all to do is email us if you think that we should record those songs or some other ones. The other songs that are not listed are Seconds Pass like Days, Run and What have I Become. So if you have heard us play those songs let us know what songs you would like to hear us put on to CD. And if you email us and let us know what 2 songs we should record, and we end up recording the songs that you choose or that was voted the most then what will do is as soon as we are done recording we will send you or give you one of the first copys of those 2 new songs that we record. Well this is Jaime signing off say GOOD FIGHT....GOOD NIGHT. 10/12/02 What's the Dilly. This is Jaime reporting to you the day after the Battle of the Bands.
